The Kalthof is located in the middle of the Millstätter See region below the Sportberg Goldeck in the immediate vicinity of Spittal an der Drau. It is the perfect starting point for all activities your heart desires.

Swimming and hiking in summer, bike tours on the directly adjacent Drauradweg, skiing and winter sports in winter - relaxation and being active in every season.

Baldramsdorf surroundings

Directly from the farm you go into the forest to explore the old Ortenburg and enjoy the peace, the air and the silence. For cyclists there is the Drau cycle path in the immediate vicinity. And of course you can go up our local mountain all year round: the Goldeck.

From spring to autumn a wonderful mountain for hiking and in winter it is a leisurely walk to the valley station of the gondola lift, which takes you to the summit in a few minutes. The Goldeck is a wonderful, manageable family ski mountain with all levels of difficulty. The sun also shines here for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers. After exercising, we recommend visiting the Drautalperle in Spittal to swim out the sore muscles.

The Millstätter See

The Millstätter See, the deepest and richest lake in Carinthia, is 5 minutes away by car. Up to 28 degrees in summer, it is a wonderful bathing lake. In addition to swimming, it offers all kinds of water sports and can also be beautifully circumnavigated by bike. The Millstätter Alpe offers hiking excursions for the whole family and many managed alpine huts offer an incomparable panorama over the lake and the southern foothills of the Alps. Millstatt is also a cultural center with museums and galleries as well as music events.

At the same distance is the Drautal, which mainly offers beautiful mountain hikes. The wild Mölltal with Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner, is always worth a trip, in every season!

In winter, in addition to the Goldeck, there are other ski areas in the area such as Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turrach, Emberger Alm or particularly snow-sure: the Mölltal Glacier.
